The hell? This has got almost 100 favourites now. It's definatly my most popular work. -_- Though I cant understand why. The eyes I drew back then were so crappy. Eyes

Found some watercolour paper and decided to practise eyes. Then I got bored and painted it with some really cheap watercolours and my favourite paintbrush (watercolours: £2 paintbrush: Size 6 Nylon brush).

I tried eyes from different angles and for different characters. My favourites are the purple, blue,green and brown ones on the left. Lets go through them:

Purple eye:
Coloured this while thinking of Gorgeous Carar the manga. Theres a bishounen with amythist eyes and I just thought I'de draw it. Its beautiful. One of my favourites.

Blue black slit pupil:
Belongs to a one of my characters I'm developing. Not saying anything else for now.

Green eye crying:
I was thinking of Sakura (CLAMP Cardcaptors) when I drew this. This use to be my favourite anime when I was little.

Sideways Pink:
Just a sideways view. Nothing special. Nothing to be proud of.

Brown:
Tried to do this in the style of Vampire Knight (manga). Its suppose to be Yuki's eye but I'm not sure the right colour. Yuki has darker eyes I think. Anyway I definatly think this one is a good style. Very pretty.

Green evil:
An eye I designed for a specially evil character. I think it would also suit someone maybe a little noble. Or perhaps a demon?

Red:
An extremly evil character. Facing down, looking upwards. This one is a very special guy. Anyone who has this eye is very unique.

Pink worried looking up:
Nothing special. Just practising angles. I fucked up the eyebrow anyway.

Brown looking down:
This ones a bit awkard. Like the colour, not the shape.

Blue looking down:
*healt melts* awww! he looks so sad...

Blue green eyebrow:
Crapped on the eyebrow but the eye itself is something special. I may use this for an Angel's eyes.


I havent made any changes to this on the computer. Simply scan and upload. What you see is how it is. I designed these eyes so that I could use them when designing characters.

Note: You may use them but only to learn shape. Dont copy my colours or special marking! If you do I swear I'll make it my personal mission to hunt you down and murder you!!!

Time taken: Aprox 5 hours. Lazing about in between so only about 2 hours of real work.
Equipment: Thick watercolour paper, Mechanical pencil, size 6 Nylon paintbrush, Watercolours...and some water. ^_^
